mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmzt mmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Can't ignore THAT noise.  Have you ever tried to sleep with the sound of a mosquito humming around your head?  To make matters worse--decisive, rather--a spot on the back of your hand starts itching.  Unless you're an exceptionally deep sleeper, I think you find yourself wide awake in an instant, swatting away at that irritating..irritating...irritating whatever-it-is (oh right; mosquito) that will probably eat you alive if you stay asleep.

No Snooze button on this alarm!
I told you I had back problems.  Yesterday morning, I crawled back in bed when some pain wouldn't subside and had thought about spending the entire day there.  But after several hours of needed rest, a very efficient insect alarm "went off" near my ear.

It has started getting cold again here in Iwatsuki, but temperatures were supposed to go up this afternoon.  "Just for you June; get up!  Get up!"  Had it been one of my family members wanting my attention, I think I could have--would have--ignored it.  But not this.  And it probably would have taken some time for me to get going on all six cylinders.

Instead, I found myself showering and dressing, ready to face the day (which God must have prepared with something special, to get me up like this).  I did not know that within half a day, I would enjoy dyed hair; I would have fun practicing special music; I would do some much-needed shopping and reading; I would view part of a God-sent film at prayer meeting; I would enjoy Kinya's curry; I would post a blog!

There are few living creatures I do not like, but I have always detested mosquitos.  I never dreamed there would come a day I would thank God, in any way, for them!
